On November 22, 2023, the Ugbioko community market in Benin City, Edo State, experienced a transformative event as the Yamen Care Foundation, a dedicated NGO, conducted a free health care outreach. The foundation’s mission, centred around the belief that “your health is your wealth,” resonated strongly throughout the day.
The community, situated at Ugbioko Upper Ekenwan Road, was buzzing with activity as the Yamen Care Foundation set up stations offering a range of vital medical services. Among the services provided were free blood pressure tests and blood sugar tests, ensuring that community members could monitor and maintain their essential health indicators without financial barriers.
